But we can just pretend that didn’t happen and move right along.
This website, this plot of land that I planted roots on 18 years ago has been on life support for quite some time now. I haven’t forgotten about it, but I have had other things come into my life that took precedent. And with the abundance of technical difficulties I kept having to endure every time I tried to bring something to you… it became very hard for me to make anything happen here.
But I finally and successfully have switched to a different hosting ground and have been promised I can move more freely where I am now. Nothing has changed on your end, everything has on mine. And that’s great news!
I know I’ve missed it here tremendously, even if I’ve had a lot of other projects and priorities come my way over the years. At the end of the day, this is my first creative baby. Something I made from scratch nurtured through so many important times in my life, and my family’s life.
Family looks different now than it did when I began here. And for that, I am grateful. I’m more private than I used to be for many reasons, but I’m still me. The Me you all chose to follow for years through every recipe and every memory I chose to bring you in on. This website is a tapestry and a diary of all the places I have been and shared with you. So many moments and flavors are documented here, and the space is very special to me.
I appreciate all of your support, and I can’t wait to get back to something resembling normal here! So, tell your friends to come on over, and let’s make this community even stronger than it was before.
