June 9-12 Beach Mealplan

G started his classes for work today so things will have to be a little more serious on our ‘vacation’ here at the beach. He’ll be in class all day and studying all night for the rest of the week so today I went to the store to get us groceries for the duration of our stay. Here’s what we’ll be eating…
(and for those of you who are new to reading this blog, I come up with a ‘mealplan’ or menu once a week after my grocery day and my husband orders off the menu every morning before he goes to work. It keeps our food costs down and eliminates the daily stress of ‘what the heck am I cooking tonight?’ I’ve been doing our meals this way for over a year and it has really helped.)

*Provolone Cheeseburgers with Asparagus ‘Fries’ and a Roasted Corn and Red Pepper Salad

*Flat-Iron Steaks with Roasted Okra and Cherry Tomatoes
*Roasted Whole Chicken with Lemon and Rosemary and Crispy Broccoli
*Ginger Pork Balls over Asian Slaw
