If you follow me on Instagram, then you’ve already seen this… I post a lot of quick tips like these there. So if you don’t already, go look me up and you won’t miss any of the fun! But I know some of you aren’t on Instagram, so I thought I’d bring it over here as well. Because this tip is just too easy and cool not to do.
Ready? Ok, real quick, here we go…
After the gym, I eat my eggs and avocado. Everyday. And I turn that empty avocado shell inside out and rub that sucker all over my face. Truth. (This way I’m not ‘wasting’ what I could be eating 😉 ). I leave it on while I eat, (it may or may not be on right now), while I get cleaned up and start getting ready. Then I just rinse it off and proceed as usual.
The inside of the avocado peel/skin is a wonderful and mild exfoliant because of its texture. And the benefits of the avocado flesh (there’s enough still attached to the inner skin even if you’re a meticulous scooper like me!!) is so amazing for your skin- so many antioxidants… it’s anti-aging… it’s a natural sunscreen, helping to protect your skin from UVA and UVB rays… the healthy oils are a natural moisturizer… they help to reduce inflammation… It’s just an all around excellent thing for your face. And with this tip, you’re not having to scoop and mash and mix anything for a mask… you’re using something that’s already in your hands… just in a different way!
Avocados are good for your outsides and your insides. So don’t compost that peel until you’ve rubbed it on ya! Deal? Deal.
Love y’all. Busy day here. And I’ve got lots of yummy things to share with you soon!
Happy Days 💋

So glad!
I suffer from psoriasis and have just started eating avocados and then for some reason I decided to rub the peel on my skin and have noticed an improvement within three days, I now plan on eating half of one a day forever.
Oh that’s so wonderful!!! I’m so glad you’ve found a natural remedy… and a delicious one as well ;-). Thanks for sharing!
