Ugh. I have a nasty cold this week and everything I eat just ends up tasting like mucus. (Sorry, but that’s just the honest truth.) This, of course, makes it incredibly difficult to make meals that taste good for my family, since I’m assuming they are not tasting my mucus. But I’ll still do my best and rely heavily on old favorites I’ve made many, many times and things my husband loves to make. (Thank goodness for a cookin’ hubby).
I saved $106 today at the store all because I follow these TIPS. And here’s what I plan on making for my family…if I ever find the energy…
*Shepherds Pie with White and Sweet Potato Crust and Melted Brie
*Tilapia Soft Tacos with Blackeyed Pea-Corn Salsa and Fresh Avocado
*Brown Rice and Sausage Stuffed Peppers
*Spinach and Feta Stuffed Flank Steaks with Sauteed Portobello and Button Mushrooms
*Bistro Salad with Grilled Chicken, Goat Cheese and Candied Walnuts
