No time for lotsa words. Too much fun to be had.
Here’s the drink you wanna make yoself next time you’re sunnin’ it.
It’s a Piña Colada made without cream of coconut or coconut cream or sweetened this and that. It’s made only of coconut milk, fresh pineapple, lime and a fruit that gives it extra creaminess and sweetness.
Oh. and rum.
Make it like now and stuff.
No Sugar Added . Fruit Sweetened . All Natural
PIÑA COLADAS
In a blender, combine the following…
- 1 (13-14 oz) can full fat, all natural coconut milk (I only use Thai Kitchen or HT Traders) (*Place in the fridge ahead of time to get it cold for a thicker cocktial)
- 2 1/2 cups fresh pineapple, cut into chunks and frozen solid (OR 1 (20 oz) can pineapple chunks in 100% juice, drained then frozen solid)
- 1 frozen very ripe banana
- the juice of 1 large juicy lime
- 1/2 cup dark rum
Blend til smooth, thick and creamy. Takes a few seconds.
Pour into glassware of choice, or freeze to get thicker/colder if preferred.
Garnish with a pineapple chunk maybe…
And a fun straw?
Umbrella optional, but fun as hell.
Enjoy!

Whoa! This is the recipe I’ve been looking for all my life. Ordering my paper drink umbrellas now…
Hahaha!!! Oh, please make these!! I’m in love with them. And I’ve made them so many times over the years that they really do change a bit depending on the ripeness of the bananas I’ve frozen… so if you get too much banana flavor… next time maybe you wont! ha. xo
Amazon has two-fer straw umbrellas–perfect. I’m on this, Abbey.
Oh this is far too exciting.
