You know when you get something new, you just can’t wait to wear it?…No matter the occasion or weather or…season? Well it’s a good thing I had something else new so I didn’t have the desire to wear the new suede boots and wool coat I found at Goodwill yesterday…

Instead I had some other new purchases I couldn’t wait to wear and play with. So that’s what today’s Fashion Friday post is about…my new (weather appropriate) stuff.
I bought this dress at H&M a couple weeks ago and have been dying to wear it ever since…then I placed an order with Express last week when they were having a big clearance sale. My shipment just came in a couple days ago and it was like Christmas morning! So I played with them all and this is what I came up with…

The dress is so sweet and simple. It’s a pale mint green, and makes me feel oh-so-girly (which is totally rare). The shoes- (white platform eyelet sandals) were part of my recent shipment and I thought they paired beautifully with the dress- being quite feminine as well.

The ring you’ve seen before- it’s a few years old, is slightly broken if you look closely, but I just love it. The earrings were a gift and all I know is that they came from a small boutique. And the floral headband was part of my shipment as well.

Love the H&M find! I tend to get overwhelmed when I go in there, unless I'm on the hunt for something specific. That color is a lot of fun, snagged a VS dress in same hue last year, always fun to wear and a compliment catcher!
Thank you Kat!! Yeah I lucked out with this dress… I had shopped their clearance racks and was in line then I saw this hanging there…calling to me ;-). And I'm sure his color looks awesome on you!!
